1. Early Supporter Channel: 15 Months of Subscription Unlocks Lifetime (Rent-to-Own)

Eligibility

• Users who purchased an active monthly or annual subscription via the Mac App Store on or before October 10, 2026, 23:59:59 (UTC+8).

How It Works

• Qualification & Ongoing Accumulation:
  • As long as you held an active subscription on or before October 10, 2026, you permanently lock in your “Early Supporter” status.
  • Even if you subscribe later, renew, or pause and restart after October 10, your active months will continue to accumulate seamlessly until you reach the 15-month milestone!
• Month Accumulation:
  • Each completed monthly subscription counts as 1 month.
  • Each completed annual subscription counts as 12 months.
• Automatic Lifetime Unlock:
  • Once cumulative subscription duration reaches 15 months (roughly equivalent to a one-time lifetime license), DuRT automatically upgrades your account to Pro Lifetime.
  • Once unlocked, you can safely cancel your ongoing subscription in macOS System Settings. You will retain lifetime Pro privileges and free major updates forever.

Checking Your Progress

Open DuRT Settings → Subscription / Membership:

• Eligible early subscribers will see an active progress bar (e.g., Backer Channel: 5 / 15 Months (33%)).
• When the bar fills, your lifetime license is automatically granted with zero additional charges.

2. Founding Lifetime Perk: Claim a Free Lifetime Gift Code for a Friend 🎁

If you purchased the Lifetime License outright during the early phase, you are one of our foundational supporters. As a token of our heartfelt thanks, you can claim one additional Mac App Store Lifetime Promo Code to gift to a colleague, friend, or family member!

Eligibility

• Direct full-price purchase of the DuRT Lifetime License on or before October 10, 2026, 23:59:59 (UTC+8) (excludes free promo code redemptions).

How to Claim

1. Open DuRT App: Navigate to Settings → Membership / Subscription.
2. Click the Orange Gift Icon 🎁: In the top-right corner of the membership status card, click the gift icon with the indicator dot to open the Founding Lifetime Perk popover.
3. Generate Encrypted Token & Open Email:
   • Click “Email to Claim Friend Code”.
   • DuRT generates an anti-counterfeit cryptographic token signed with your StoreKit transaction and copies it to your clipboard.
   • An email draft will open automatically addressed to dufuture@outlook.com with the subject [DuRT Founding Lifetime] Claim Friend Lifetime Promo Code.
4. Attach Apple Receipt & Send:
   • Attach a screenshot of your Apple App Store receipt or invoice confirming your early Lifetime purchase.
   • Upon quick verification, the developer will email back an official Mac App Store Lifetime Promo Code.

3. How to Redeem the Promo Code on the Mac App Store

The recipient can easily redeem their permanent license:

1. Open the App Store on Mac.
2. Click your profile icon / account name at the bottom-left.
3. Click “Redeem Gift Card or Code”.
4. Enter the 16-character code and click Redeem.
5. Once complete, DuRT will download. Open the app, go to Settings → Subscription, and click “Restore Purchase” to activate Lifetime Pro.

Q: Why don't I see the Early Supporter progress bar for subscriptions made after October 10, 2026?

A: The Early Supporter Channel is an exclusive transitional perk for early adopters during our initial launch. Subscriptions initiated after the cutoff date follow standard pricing ($1.99/mo, $17.99/yr, or $34.99 lifetime).

Q: Does the friend claim token expire?

A: No, your founding proof token does not expire. You can reach out anytime to claim your friend gift code.
